Auditions will comprise of readings and improvisation, as improv is an essential aspect of the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatres. You may also prepare a monologue if you wish to bring one.

Join us for a delicious dinner and a thrilling mystery in our interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre! Meet the suspects, ask them the hard questions, and use your deductive skills to solve the murder!
Actors will be asked to memorize a couple of monologues, get to know their characters, and then interact with guests as that character throughout the evening. There will be a few rehearsals leading up to the dinner to get you familiar with the character and style of a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre.

Unless otherwise noted, Master Arts’ auditions will be cold readings.
Sign-ups for auditions are not mandatory but preferred.
Sides will not be available before the audition date. If you would like to peruse a script, you may come by the office and check one out for a $5.00 deposit.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior, so the director can start auditions on time.
If you need any special accommodations, please let the director know. We will work on a solution.
After auditions, everyone will be contacted, whether you receive a role or not.
If you get a call or email informing you that you were not chosen, and you still want to be involved (working backstage), let the director know immediately.

–Rehearsal Schedule
Rehearsals will be from 6:45 – 8:45 on the following dates: 12/2, 12/3, 12/9, 12/10, 01/06, 01/07.
Please enter all dates on your audition sheet that you have previous engagements. Because we are a community theater, the schedule can sometimes be worked around.
